Who was not completely opposed to Draupadi during her disrobing?
This question is not well understood. Opposed? Not opposed?
Assuming that the objectors are asking who they are, this is the answer:
There were only two in the Kuru Sabha who opposed Draupadi’s disrobing. One is Vidura. The second was Duryodhana’s brother Vikarna.
No one paid attention to the words of Vidura, who had no authority other than being an elder.
But Vikarna, the prince of the Kuru dynasty, argued that Yudhishthira, whom he had previously defeated, should not be insulted by giving her the correct answer, since she had said that it was wrong to marry Draupadi.
Everyone in the assembly cheered his words. This angered Karna. ‘You are a boy when all the elders are silent, why do you talk about what you know about Dharma‘ he reprimanded Vikarnu. He also said:
“Eko Bhartastriya Devarvihitah Kurunandana,
Iantwanekavasaha Bandhakiti Vinishchita”
(O Kuru Nandana! It is the dharma prescribed by the gods that a woman should have only one husband. She who has many husbands will surely be a queen.)
Draupadi was nothing but a polygamous woman. He made Vikarna sit arguing that she did not have to answer with respect in the assembly.
